Fiona Kent-Ledger

Fiona was first elected to the Council in 1999.

She is a member of the Management and the Planning and Environment Committees.

Fiona also represents the Council on Dorchester Arts.

"Elected to the council in 1999, She is coming to the end of a 5 year term as chairman of the management Committee and serves on the joints Markets and Planning committees, she says “I have lived in Dorchester since I was 11 and settled back here after college in Plymouth. It is such a privilege being a Town councillor, the challenges it presents are varied but always rewarding I have enjoyed watching Dorchester evolve and grow over the years becoming a vibrant town with something for everyone"

She has worked within local government for over 25 years, is a trustee and Dorchester Municiple charities and is a supporter of local arts, music and many local clubs and organisations. “
