"I was born in Dorset and have lived in Dorchester for 13 years. I moved here because I wanted a safe and beautiful environment for my three children. They have now grown up and I have a grandson at school in Dorchester. As a working single mum, I have a good understanding of how hard family life can be in these difficult times, and the challenges many families face. I have worked in adult and childrens social care for over 20 years and also have a deep commitment to supporting families who have faced domestic violence and other abuse.
