Grants

Dorchester Town Council grants:
Each year the Council gives grants to local organisations. The grants are usually fairly small, between £50 and £500, as the Council believes that the limited resources which are available should benefit as many people as possible. This includes but is not limited to groups that support vulnerable people, art/ culture, young people, reducing climate change, sport, heritage, outdoor spaces, health and wellbeing
The Council will usually only consider grant applications for specific projects rather than a contribution towards ongoing or revenue costs. Full application guidance notes are included with the grant application form. A Word version of the form is available on request - contact admin@dorchester-tc.gov.uk
Grant applications are considered by the council's Management Committee at its meetings every other month. In order for the committee to consider your application, please submit your form by the following deadlines 1st March 2025, 1st May 2025, 1st July 2025, 1st September 2025, or the 1st November 2025.
